Carson starts his weekly science class today. He's never taken this class and he is really excited. We have a lot of friends that have taken Dr. Reeds class (http://www.thinkingreeds.com). I know he's going to love it.

Soooo, what did they do? How did it go?
We investigated the effects of temperature on diffusion (a few drops of food coloring in near-boiling, tepid, and chilled water).
Conclusion: molecules move faster in warmer temps! LOVE SCIENCE!!! Hope Carson loved his too!
He really enjoyed it. They studied buoyancy and did a sink or float experiment and then they made boat out of aluminum foil.
I love your simple experiment on molecules! I'll have to do that one! I love when we can illustrate concepts without a lot of prep work and materials. Thanks for the idea :)
