Engineers Week

This week was Engineers Week and we headed to the Dallas Science and Nature Museum. They had tables set up throughout the museum with volunteer engineers illustrating different experiments. My favorite was the one with the salt dough circuit.

I signed the boys up for a homeschool class and show. The show was called Superhero science and it provided a first hand look at x-ray vision, bulletproof materials, lasers, invincibility and even levitation! After the show, we headed to the class where the boys were paired up and built simple machines using legos. I got to be Cameron's partner (which was his choice).

Hey, we were there too. You must have been in the later class cause y'all are sitting in the exact same seats we were. Wasn't the show so much fun? We really enjoyed it.

I thought they did a great job putting it together. The engineers were fun and patient with the little ones too!

That is so cool! I hope they have some good programs in the summer, we could go together!
